Nonprofit Organization

Create a new look for a non profit organization. The client is a foundation based in St. Augustine (House of Friendship) that raises funds to support a children’s home in El Progreso, Honduras (Copprome). They had many design related needs. The history of Copprome starts with Sisters of Notre Dame, Sister Tere ministered to the poor in El Progreso, Honduras. Her dream was to build a children’s shelter that could offer hope to the poorest of the poor. "House of Friendship" supports Copprome and other organizations. The logo revolves around Copprome and House of Friendship the branding had to incorporate an element from each.

The logo is based off  pottery artifacts within Honduras culture. The pottery design is shaped into a circle. So it would represents the base of unity that corresponds to a foundation. The heart represents the foundations and then the continuous ripples of design leads us to distribution of funding and growth towards different organizations.

The tiling design element is based off more artifacts within Honduras. The colors chosen are based off primary and secondary colors, such as, what you would see in school.
